Finally all the planning is finished and the Third International C1-Biker meeting in Hamburg is organised. All C1-Bikers and enthusiasts are wellcome. A sightseeing roundtrip through the port including the old Elbtunnel and the Koehlbrandbrucke has been planned.
The main highlight though is the
MoGo which last year was attended by nearly 30,000 Bikers and this year, hopefully a large number C1ers.

So everyone can be together I have taken an option of booking all the rooms ajoining each other at The Best Western Hotel. The Hotel prices are very reasonable for Hamburg. There is a Youth Hostel nearby and camping is possible but with very limited facilites.

MoGo 2002 Motorcycle open air service in Hamburg.

 An unusual gathering !!

When one speaks about a Church Service, one immediately thinks of Hymn singing, a   Church, Communion, Conformation and so on. The Mororcycle Service in Hamburg is  something totally different. For 19 years under the shadow of the Hamburger Michel,  a landmark of Hamburg. Last year for sure was the largest Biker meeting ever in the  Republic of Germany, possibly in Europe. Over 30,000 (Thirty Thousand!!) came to the  Hamburger Michel service. Unfortunately only a total of eight C1´s were seen. Never   the less... we are on the steady increase.

After an excellent Sermon, overwhelmingly aimed with Bikers in mind, the whole  gathering moved through St.Pauli to Kaltenkirchen in the north of Hamburg. All the   roads including the Autobahn was reserved for us alone. On all the bridges and roads  crowds were gathered to wave us through. Where can you experience something like  that in this day and age?

I have attempted here to give some impression of the experience but I believe   pictures are worth thousands of words. To describe everything would take for ever.
